This thread seems immortal ... but since guys are still showing how helpful they are I'm posting!
I've just spent a couple hours trying to download a show for someone on 4od which seems to have broken most people's streamers by stopping the mobile version of the website and refusing to run if you have adblocker running and requiring a login to start playing (I found a shared login, np)

and I've tried rtmpexplorer, adownloader, getflv, livestreamer, rtmphelper, youtube-dl etc and either they don't work or they need the m3u8 etc which I can't seem to find
It'd be nice if someone could get this working for me but far nicer if they can educate me on how to do it!

BT Sport, a paid sports network here in the UK, have recently changed their streaming service from Silverlight to what appears to be an HLS flash one: http://www.yospace.com/index.php/hls...-overview.html

I managed to find a .m3u8 link for the 720p stream (http://t1-btsport-live-hls-prod.akam...s2/643_6.m3u8), however couldn't download it using ffmpeg/livestreamer. I think this may be because you have to login to watch the streams, although I don't have much knowledge of this area so I may be wrong. TubeDigger worked, but the recording stops after about an hour and I can't work out why. Couldn't get RMC to work as I couldn't watch the stream in the DVR browser - this is all I get:

In TubeDigger I solved that problem by switching the browser from IE to Chrome, but in RMC there is no choice. I can play the stream in the full IE broswer fine though, and my flash player plugin is up to date.

Obviously it might be quite hard for someone to help if they cannot access the streams, so please let me know if I can give you any more information.
