Change your user agent to iPhone or iPad, find the M3U8, and use that in ffmpeg: ffmpeg -i "yahoom3u8" -c copy video.ts

  11. Hi, i've fixed my yahoo live script and you can use it in adownloader. To get the stream i use vlc to watch meantime the video and save it. To stop the downloading simply close vlc.

    Tested https://screen.yahoo.com/live/event/clean-bandit.

  12. hmm it doesn't work. My vlc player always says that he can't open the stream. No matter if I use

    https://yahoo-live.hs.llnwd.net/livenation1p.m3u8

    or

    http://yahooios-i.akamaihd.net/hls/live/202861/tristudios/livenation1p/master.m3u8

Any help with a working batch file would be much appreciated since the show will start in a few hours.

    thanks in advance

  13. Need help to find a fixed URL for this site.

    Player: http://livestream.com/accounts/5043608/events/2323628/player

The info keeps changing. I keep finding new URLs that work but are only for limited play and then expire, such as these:

    http://livestream-f.akamaihd.net/5043608_2323628_a16edd82_1_2320@136690?v=3.6.0&fp=WIN 12,0,0,43&r=IARWB&g=XNJUUHBTMSUS

I do not understand how to convert to a valid, fixed URL.

If anyone has time to point to a solution it would be greatly appreciated.

These links are for Clean Bandit stream. Anyway they work with adownloader directly. You can put the url

    https://screen.yahoo.com/live/event/clean-bandit

    or directly the m3u8.

You won't be able to get a fixed URL. The links are authenticated by tokens placed usually after the .m3u8 extension, and those tokens expire after a period of time.

The token is missing from the end of the URL. You need to copy the entire link in order to record the stream.

  19. Hi there. I registered just to try to get this working.

I am trying to archive some videos from a class I am taking. They are streaming using RTMPE. My download command will start the download, but then silently stop downloading anything around 30 seconds. The file gets larger, but no new data accumulates. I tried using the resume switch with rtmpdump but that didn't work either.

I tried using RTMPDumpHelper's automatic capture thing and that works, but it seems to only capture in real-time-ish, so to download hours of video I'll need to spend hours watching the videos.

Here's an example command line I'm using:

    rtmpdump -r "rtmpe://steaming.sscnet./4556" -a "4556" -f "WIN 17,0,0,134" -W "https://moodle2./filter/sscwowza/jwplayer/SecureToken.swf" -p "https://moodle2./mod/page/view.php?id=141376" -y "mp4:U2v1_What_is_GIS.mp4"

Unfortunately the page this video is on is protected by an authentication page, so I can't give much more info than this. Let me know if some HTML source from the page would help.

The site seems to be using "Wowza Streaming Engine 4 Perpetual Edition 4.1.0 build12602" to stream, if that helps anyone.

Further putzing around and I found a playlist file:
    Code:
    #EXTM3U
    #EXT-X-VERSION:3
    #EXT-X-STREAM-INF:PROGRAM-ID=1,BANDWIDTH=207493,CODECS="avc1.66.30,mp4a.40.2",RESOLUTION=640x480
    chunklist_w359730289.m3u8
I checked that chunklist file and I got this:
    Code:
    #EXTM3U
    #EXT-X-VERSION:3
    #EXT-X-TARGETDURATION:10
    #EXT-X-MEDIA-SEQUENCE:0

  22. It really worked with ffdshow this time using this command

    ffmpeg -i "http://yahooios-i.akamaihd.net/hls/live/202861/tristudios/livenation2p/master.m3u8" -c copy atg.ts
but the recording isn't good. Sometimes the sound stops or there are parts of the show missing and then everything is running out of synch.
So it seems that ffmpeg can't capture the stream as a whole and always missed parts and therefore the capture isn't really usable.

Some messages ffdshow gives me during the capture is "skipping 3 segments ahead expired from playlists " Maybe that's a problem?

Any further help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot

I have problems with downloading video from Slovenian site: VOYO.SI
I have used "GETflv", but this program has a problem with downloading largest videos (1h 30min)

Here is RTMP link (URL copy from GETflv)
