  1. has anyone reached this speed?...encoding with Tmpgenc faster than realtime....meaning a 2hr movie is encoded in less than 2 hrs?...if so...can you post the specs of your dream machine?

    if you wish to achieve faster than realtime encoding, you should be using Cinema Craft encoder.

    im running XP1800+ and get 1.3x realtime on CCE.
    meaning I encode 130% speed compared to realtime (100%).
    a 45min video will take ~30min to encode.

    plus i am using Avisynth and not VirtualDub frameserver.
    VirtualDub goes 0.7x realtime only, so ...

    CCE + Avyisynth = incredible speed, great quality
