I have been looking online for A-G-E-S and cannot seem to find a code to unlock the region in this player anywhere!!!! is it because its new? is it new? anyway...

What i have noticed though is that lots and LOTS of Toshiba DVD players (I realize mine is a recorder, but bare with me) seem to be unlocked with either the 2403960 code, or the 9879 code as shown on this website.

Anybody try these on Toshiba DVD Recorders?

If i tried it on mine... could a code harm the machine if its the wrong code?

I can't seem to find unlock codes for too many recorders actually, but i have read that many DVD players cannot be unlocked via remote... hope someone figures it out soon!

Anybody know anything?
