    i have a tvix6500 i tried playing mp4 file it would not start, i sent it through mkvmerge to change to mkv video now is alright but audio keeps dropping out, is there anything can be done for the audio track, audio track is OK on pc

    in mediainfo codec id A_AAC if that is any help

    Try reconvert the audio, to ac3 or mp3. Try for example popcorn mkv audio converter.

    how long does it take to convert the audio it seems to be stuck on decoding audio to wav
