Hi!
I was hoping someone could help me with a problem I have!
I am using windows xp.
I bought something called EasyCAP which is supposed to let me copy vhs tapes through the computer and burning them on dvd.
First the cd that came with the EasyCAP wouldn't install the drivers, and after searching this forum I found out I could copy them to a memory stick and installing htem from there. That worked. Then it wouldnt let me install the program videostudio, so I had to buy it online.
When i connect the vhs to my computer the vhs show under the cameras and scanners. When i open it it plays the video, but that is it. I can only watch the video on my computer (as if it was a camera).
When I open VideoStudio it doesnt allow me to do anything. I dont get any errors, but all the buttons are diabled from clicking on them.
I dont know if my explanation is any good, but i dont wanna make this too long. Does anyone have any suggestions to what I can to do upload my old vhs tapes to my computer and burn them on dvd using easycap/videostudio?

Which version of ulead videostudio is being used ?
Also available is WinAVI Video Capture 2 ... its free so at least you can do some tests if ulead videostudio isn't responding
PS: And another odd one called Video DVD Maker ... just take the free one
