My bravia KDL5100 has a usb port. The manual says you can play mp3 and jpg files from a usb device on TV. However, when I plugged my usb stick, the TV does not seem to recognize it. I tried several sticks, none of them worked. What is the problem??

    Thanks in advance!

Can you quote the manual on USB specs and standards supported?

How is your USB stick formatted? FAT32?

    Hi
    My problem may be related:
My Sony Bravia KDL-37W5500 do recognize the USB stick, thumbnails of all images are shown (I only have jpg files), BUT some of the jpg-images cannot be displayed. Message appears "Displaying is not available". Any image from my Sony alfa700 that I have adjusted in Photoshop (e.g., with curves, sharpening; and of course saved as a jpg) cannot be shown, but the original file from the camera, transfered to the same USB stick can be seen.
