I want to rip my copies of Snow White and Pinocchio so when my niece is over she can watch them.

How can I rip them with the artwork in the side bars? I thought maybe it would be a different angle or something but I can't find it.

I loaded the largest m2ts in ripbot but it was just the movie with the black bars.

You can view the individual .m2ts files with VLC and probably other players. Outside of looking through those, no idea where they would hide the graphics or how you would incorporate them into the video.

I wonder if it's a playlist thing? Because in the menus you can choose artwork on/off/something else.

    Just found this finally.

"the Disney View uses a BD-Java overlay to display the borders as an overlay - as opposed to having to have a whole second copy of the movie on the disc with the borders hard-coded into the frame (saves disc space, allows higher bitrate for the movie etc)."

Don't worry about it. Kids don't care about that kind of stuff and you're just setting yourself up for a bunch of unnecessary work that really won't be appreciated as much as you think it will. I can promise you that she won't care to watch the film without it.
