Hello there!
I've got this Sony DCR-DVD108 camcorder, I can create ready to go DVDs in the camera or from files read from the camera into software that comes with the camcorder. No problems with this...
BUT... If I use the camcorder to record mpg video files, I cannot import them in any video editing softwar, even though I can watch them normally in software like VLC Media Player.
Why can't I import the mpegs into anything? Do I need a specific coded to make it work?
I looked for some answer at Sony website, found nothing.
Thanks for any hints.![]()

you say "any" but not which editors you tried. mpeg-2 can be imported into most editors. womble mpeg video wizard is one that works with it well.
use mediainfo and post the results. and/or post a sample somewhere.
