I wonder if someone could help me. I am desperately looking for some application/ program which will allow me to define a small section in an image file (jpeg / any format) as a reference and then search through a collection of images to match that small portion which was defined as reference.

I have been looking at pattern recognition and image comparer softwares but have not come across any that would allow me to define a small part of the image as reference.

Is there any tool out there that could help achieve this?

    Regards

    Scot
