ok so. i recorded my first video ever last night. it's only like a minute long(avi format). i used the webcam in my laptop.
it's says it's 395 mb, which seems really big to me. i dont really know anything about video.
so i guess my questions are..
1- is that really big?
2- if so, how do i make it smaller?
3- can i record a video as wmv, instead of avi?
thanks!!

1. No. Depends on the webcam resolution, frame rate and codec used.
2. Consider a different resolution, frame rate or compression codec.
3. Yes. Try to capture with Windows Movie Maker or Windows Media Encoder.Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.

Codec means encoder-decoder. WMV is a codec supported by Windows. Try that first.
