A whining noise all the time a disc is spinning and on some discs, especially CD-R's, an intermittent clicking like that of a stepper motor.
Is this normal behaviour for this drive? I sincerely hope not because it means turning up the volume to mask out the noises, shame really 'cos this player is good in so many other ways (for the price).
I'm now looking at exchanging it for a Pioneer 444 or 545.
Any comments?
Cheers
