    Hi guys,

I tried to open an mkv file with VDubMod and after processing for quite a while a warning came up (the screencap is below) saying the program had crashed. I've attached the information the program gave me as a text file. Does anyone understand what has gone wrong here and what I need to do to address the problem? I'm still learning all the technobabble.

virtualdubmod hasn't been updated in years. Try something else like mkvtoolnix for demuxing and splitting or avidemux for editing.

  3. And even when VirtualDubMod was current it's MKV support was outdated. Don't count on it being able to read anything but the MKV files it creates itself.
