  1. I have a movie I burned from a bin/cue (now deleted) and the play back is choppy.
What I hope to do is extract the movie off of the cd-rom, repair it and reburn.
I tried dragging the large mpg file out of the folder on the cd to my hard drive. The file was not recognized afterword.
I have downloaded vcdgear but do not know which conversion to choose from the menu to do what I want.
I tried to do a search here, but the serch feature is not working today
    Does this make any sense?

  2. Use CDRWin (demo mode works fine) or CDRDAO + XDuplicator (freeware option) to make a CUE/BIN image of your SVCD onto your HDD.

Then use VCDXRIP (a tool in the VCDImager suite of proggies) to extract all the source files as well as a XML descriptor of your SVCD from the CUE/BIN.
