I checked google and couldn't find what the maximum or desired fps that the ds runs at for video cause i read that if you encode at too high of fps then the video would suffer some quality loss,my best guess is 20fps but cant find anywhere to confirm it.

Note in the link that a bitrate of 384 Kbps is recommended. That's going to make VCD look like BluRay in comparison to what you have to encode at for the DS. Expect any live action to look unnatural.

I've seen a few sites that give different fps for encoding,some say 18fps and others say 22fps and 20fps,what i wanted to see was an actual hardware spec sheet but none that i have read give this info,I have encoded a few videos already for my ds and they look good,with a screen res of 256 x 192 bitrates that low look alright.
