I'm looking to get a blu-ray machine that will play all the different formats that I currently have on CDs and DVDs. These non-HIDEF formats include avi, mpeg, jpg, wmv, flv, as well as the standard DVD movie releases. I would appreciate it if someone could point me to somewhere that compares the available players with the file types that they will play. I have been searching for this but been unsuccessful.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Go to our DVD Players page: https://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers Input the features you want and you should get a list of players that may work.

The only one that I see comes close to your requirements is the LG BD370. I don't think any will play flv.

    And welcome to our forums.

I am looking to purchase a Philips portable dvd player. Which ones have PAL & Divxx in them? There website does not tell you clearly if they have PAL. I have been to this site which is helpful. I am looking at a DCP951, DCP851 and a PET723. Can someone please help me so I know which is best for me.

    1. Start your own topic or thread.
    2. Portables are notorious for NOT being able to play
any discs other than from the country/region that they were purchased.
