    My questions has 2 parts.

1st- Does anyone knows how a way to burn a VCD with a modified or ecrypted movie, so when we put it on the DVD player it will ask for a password after begginind menus, presentations, movies, .... And if we try to play the movie in a computer using windows media player we will not be able to?

2ndt- Same case, but movie not need to be modified or encrypted and can be played on windows media.

1st question is what I really look for but if anyone knows the 2nd question answer it would be very nice also.

    Thanks,

    Fred

  2. You can make a "password" type menu but if your movie is burnt as a video track (it should be), then it can all be bypassed by turning off PBC.

You can't encrypt the movie and have it viewable on a stand-alone player.

If you put your movie as a segment-item rather than a track (decreased play length), the menu will be effective in stopping the PBC-off trick but anyone will still be able to play the video on the PC.

    Regards.

Its fairly simple dont lend your disks then no one can copy them sounds logical doesnt it.

its even easier than copy protecting them
