I almost got this thing perfect but a small problem, this is what I did.
Using TMPGenc I encoded a Mpeg1 to Mpeg2 for DVD Playback at a bitrate of 3500 instead of 3000(trying to achieve a little better quality).
When burned to DVD-RW using SruceUp(great program by the way!) it plays awesome in my standalone, quality is great, but I can only fastforward at 2X. Trying to go at a faster rate the movie will just pause and play from the same location. When I encoded at 3000 I could fastforward at 64X.
When buring the same movie to DVD-R, I got those funny pixilations and very brief pauses. Also, the same fastforward problem. The only thing I did different is the DVD-RW I burned at 1X and the DVD-R at 2X. Is this the cause of the pixilation problem?
Im using the Pioneer DVr-A03 and General Purpose Media.
