  1. I have a lot of family photos which I like to burn to CD and play on my DVD player. To date I have around 400MB of photos

categorized in approximately 30 folders. When I burn the jpeg photos to a CD they do burn correctly however when I look at the

directory tree on the DVD player it always stops at around 20 (or so) folders and grays out the remaining 10 folders despite the

fact that they are on the CD. I am wondering if this is a memory issue with the DVD player. I have a Panasonic F65 DVD player. I

have heard that newer DVD players particularly BluRAy players have enhanced features such as quick disc read speeds (mine

takes about a minute to read). Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

A: Restriction within the firmwares design as to why folders past "limits" will either be grayed or not listed ... read the manual... it may specify examples or contact manufacturer about issue and to check for firmware upgrades.

B: Different brands of media will cause different reactions when the unit try's to read disc's ... find one brand that works well and stay with that brand.
