    Hi,
I want to encode avi to hardsub avi with 2 pass. I'm looking for software who can do this. I tried to use VirtualDubMod but it was very hard for Newbie like me. Can you recommend to me about easy software who can do this?
    thank you!

Avidemux. Open the file, go to video - filters - subtitles. Add it there.

Then the original AVI also had the delay accounted for, but there's no way to fix it within AutoGK since it doesn't know what that delay is. It's very easy to fix the delay afterwards.

As for the font, SRT subtitles have no way to specify a font, so you always get the ugly Arial font. If you convert to SSA, you can specify in the file what font, colors, position, size, etc. you want and AutoGK will honor it. usta seems to be saying you can do all that with an SRT using AviDemux. If so, then use it.
