    Hi

Anyone with a suggestion for a multiregion hack for this player. It looks as it has been built by Funai (the back is identical to Funai´s NB530SLX adding an ethernet port)

I have tested every Philips, Funai or Funai equivalent hack that I have found in the net with no results.

    Thanks in advance

Is that the correct model number? The ONLY reference I found to this player via a Google search is YOUR post!

    1) Some DVD players cannot ever be hacked.
    2) Sometimes hacks that worked in the past don't work anymore because of hardware changes during production.
    3) Sometimes hacks only work on models sold in other countries because of hardware differences.
    4) If this is a Blu Ray player, you need to be aware that almost no Blu Ray players can be hacked. A handful of Blu Ray players can be made region free for DVD play with a code, but only a few Blu Ray players can change Blu Ray regions (Blu Ray players cannot be made region free for Blu Ray playback, but a few can change to all 3 regions) and these all require hardware modifications or firmware modifications to be done by the seller or the purchaser.

Hollywood has convinced almost all of the manufacturers to stop making players that can be made region free. A few years ago it was almost impossible to find a player by Philips that could not be made region free, but now we get posts all the time asking about codes for Philips players that can't be made region free.

jman98 Thanks for your reply and the correction for the title (it is BDP not BDD). It is indeed a BluRay Player and I know my post may never lead to a hack and I am only looking to unlock the DVD region. Knowing it is a Funai I am willing to test codes available to see if they work.

    Thanks again
