I have the video footages which were created from photo slideshow and exported to mpg(the file extension).
Using 'VideoPad' to edit the part of the video(cut the last 4 seconds), when I dragged the video files into timelime, I see the error message in the right monitor window, saying "Failed to read video frame" taking whole monitor window in the image type with 'X'.
The videos play OK in Windows Media Player, Media Player Classic or Nero Showtime, VLC. GOM Player.
Even I can burn the DVD with Encore DVD.

Do we need any particular codecs installed in the computer?
Any idea please?
