    Hello

I have installed Gordian Knot but whenever I try to open VirtualDubMOD it just crashes. After a little investigation it seems that ffavisynth.avsi in the avisynth plugins directory is causing this as when i delete it VirtualDubMOD works fine. What I would like to know is will deleting this avsi file effect my convertions in Gordian Knot? or will this not effect anything? I mostly convert to xvid. Any advise will be much appreciated. Thanks

I'm afraid I don't know either. I do have ffdshow installed for VDM on one of my computers, along with the ffavisynth.avsi and ffavisynth.dll in the AVISynth plugins folder and no problems with VDM. I don't have AGK installed on the same computer, though. More info about the plugin: http://avisynth.org.ru/docs/english/externalfilters/ffavisynth.htm

    It'll be pretty obvious.
If it needs it, it will crash when it tries to call an undefined function.

Possibly it is only needed if you select some specific filters defined in the file.
