No harm in asking and maybe you will get lucky, but probably you won't. If you've searched and can't find a code, the odds are extremely high that one does not exist. Some players can't ever be hacked. Some players could be hacked in the past, but the manufacturer has changed the hardware and broken the code. And some models sold in the USA and Canada can't be hacked but the same model sold in other parts of the world can be hacked due to hardware differences.

Hollywood has convinced almost everybody who makes DVD players to stop making players that can be made region free, so if you can't find a code via a web search, there probably isn't one.

    HI guys,
Please help me making my Sony DVD player DVP SR200P region free. I hope the member nickywicky and lalarulz1 post me the code. Otherwise, I am relying on another great member for help.

  4. as reagrds the coby, does it play pal dvd's okay?, have you tried?

If a player cannot be made region free but converts pal to ntsc, then simply burn a dvd off the original using dvd fab decrypter, as it remopved the region code on the disc, I would suggest trying the coby 298 hack but it might brick your player.

Sonys cannot usually be hacked. but a google search found this. do some research.

Plug everything in and turn on the TV with DVD input
Use the remote and turn on the DVD machine
Open the tray with the remote.
Then press 9735 on the remote.
You will then see a screen with a menu
where you can scroll up to "region"
and change the region to "0"
Then scroll down and exit the menu.
    That's it, it's done.
