After exporting from Final Cut, using Compressor-- i noticed my left audio channel had dropped slightly.
I can't think of any good reason for this?

I watch my levels while editing in FC and everything looks correct--

Anyone ever had a similar experience?
    Thanks, guys--

What format are you trying to end up with for your aduio?
    ie. AIFF, Ac3, etc?

is the preset your using set for 2 Channel or ?

last, what format was the audio in before hand?

    Hi terry--
using compressor, i end up with both an AIFF file (48/16) and an Ac3 file.

the audio beforehand is mostly just the audio straight from the MiniDV tape, as i export directly from FC Pro into compressor.

i'm using a preset in compressor (DVD- Fastest Encode 150 minutes)-- so it doesn't prompt me about 2 channel. it is in stereo, that i can tell--

any more information i can give?
    thanks---
