The playback option, in VLC, does not have a loop option. How can this be achieved? This should simple selection-but.

Press L on your keyboard or View->advanced controls and click on loop from a to b-button .

I tried the A,B thing before, and it does not work on my machine. I started the clip and pressed A, then go to end to press B. If I go to the very end, it exits the program. I tried other combinations-no soap. This is not a good system-a simple repeat would have been much better than this obfuscation. Perhaps, GOM Player is better.
Just used GOM and no problem-it works.

An older thread but maybe this could help some people with the same problem.

    In your VLC player....

    tools....preferences....show settings "all"....playlist....repeat current item....save

Some use the repeat all but I prefer the repeat current item. Hope this helps.
