    Does anyone know if it's possible to convert a USB WebCam into a portable cam? Anyone know of any sites out there with info? I'd love to convert my Logitech QuickCam into a biking Helmet Cam but I'm not sure how.

    Hook it up to a laptop and put the laptop in an back pack that you strap on when you go biking. Attach the web cam to your helmet with duct tape or similar. Press record on the laptop and start riding !!!!!

    I'd rather risk crashing on a $300 camcorder than a $1000+ laptop (that I don't have...) Besides... I could always spend $300 more on a helmet cam system. My key here was keeping it cheap.
