    Hello.

Iv a couple of question regarding the best output format using an AVI file produced in Aftereffect 6,
    1) Im looking first of all for a WMV freindly format with as little loss in quality as possible end file size would need to around 600 mega bytes---origina; file avi is 1.6 Gig.and would that be ntscor pal.
    2) Same as Question 1 initally except this time the final format needs to be on dvd to play on television Europe, best quality again with a final file size of aroud 600 mega bytes---NTSC or Pal

Please give us as much information as possible
How long is the clip? The source file size doesn't say anything
WHat is the frame size/resolution and framerate?

1)Convert to wmv then. Use WMVMuxer and use 2-pass encoding. Calculate the average bitrate using a bitrate calculator.

    2) Convert to dvd mpeg using a good encoder like hcenc(or with a gui for it like avstodvd).

Then can you shrink it to much smaller than 600Mbytes and still keeep very good quality. Try the above and encoders and use the highest possible quality settings/profiles.
