Playable on a standalone dvd player... as in DVD format ?

ConvertXtoDvd, (what i use on occasion exclusively) $ but many options and excellent results.

DVD Flick, Free and has lot's of options also, not as many as the former but still good.

Or if you have a standalone player that plays Xvid/Divx you can just burn them to a dvdr with ImgBurn.

I am assuming you are talking about Xvid/Divx Avi's, your post/question is pretty vague in the overall scheme of things pertaining to Video.
