Please take a look at BBC Proms:

This website has a lot of good material to listen or watch.
My question is:
1) what is the best way to capture/record the audio broadcasts? Of course I can use Total Recorder, but I thought there would be a way to capture directly the audio stream. I tried the Firefox cache, but couldn't play the files.
2) what is the best way to capture/record the video broadcasts?

I found one answer. Used Orbit to capture. However, this only will capture the Low Bandwidth option. Orbit doesn't seem to work with the High Bandwidth option (see screenshot) I also tried Replay Media Catcher ver2.3 and that doesn't work. Can't find anything in the cache either. Any ideas?
