    I had it a while ago but forgot. It was for Avisynth, and it would take forever. Which is it?

    "best" for jaggies and shimmer, but it does blur a bit and is very slow

  3. And "very slow" means about 1/50 the speed of other deinterlacers.

  4. It reduces grain significantly too, so you may want to adjust the denoising in the script if you want to keep grain.

    I don't remember this one, but if you say so. What parameters would you recommend for the highest quality? I don't give a shit if it's slow, the video is only 5 minutes long.

    And I don't want any kind of denoising, I can do that separately.

  6. Try the defaults first. Every source is different so it's impossible to generalize "good" settings. You will find some frames get through that are not quite perfect with 1 set of settings, and some others get though with another set

    Sometimes you have to tweak some of the parameters for best results, like the interpolation mode

    The denoising/blur is a "side effect" of the flicker/shimmer removal

    yadifmod+nnedi2 is another option that gives good results and is 3-5x faster, and doesn't blur as much

    This video is an old comparison and really illustrates "shimmer"

    TempGaussMC_beta1()

    Just call it without any parameters listed and it will be set as default

    If you want more details on the settings, just open the .avs or .avsi in notepad, or avsp and it lists everything

    Have a link to the DLL?

  10. It requires a few additional plugins

    I have all those filters. It says it doesn't recognize tempgauss as a function.

  12. download the .avsi from the top right hand corner from the mediawiki and place it in your avisynth/plugins directory. "avsi" versions are autoloading, whereas "avs" versions have to be loaded in your script

    if you want to learn about the settings, open the avsi , it's fully documented
