What is the name of this subtitle program?

Ok, so I been slowly hardsubbing MV's and posting it online.

Recently, my computer got fried, and I lost all the programs necessarily that helped me subb videos.

I used 4 systems. Aegisubs, Virtualdub, subtitle workshop. and XXXXX

I had a problem going mp4 to avi without losing quality.

After a while, I found a way to convert MP4 for AVI without losing quality.

For the life of me I can't figure out what the program was called.

All I remember was that the icon was purple with Movie reel pic in it.

This maybe just crap memory, but I THINK the program was called like Xvid5.6 or something.

it pretty much could converted anything into anything else. All i remember clearly was that it had purple streaks and purple icon. The screen had two side (like virtual dub).

I'm guessing it has something to do with the program called xvid, but I can't figure out which veresion it is

can anybody help? a link would be nice as well. thank you
