I am capturing VHS tapes thru ab ADS Tech CapWiz. I wish to create DVDs with chapters where I want them not some automatic procedure. I also then need to create a disk menu. I have tried several programs (both commercial and freeware) but all seem to either not allow manual chapter selection or disk menu creation. Any suggestions?

You actually need to capture something first with this capwiz thing before worrying about making what you capture into a DVD with chapters and a menu.
What format does this capwiz thing capture in? -
I use the the ADS to capture dvd compliant mpeg2.
Neither NeroVision Express 2 or Ulead DVD Movie Factory re-encode my captures when I author my files. Then I burn the dvd video folder to disc with imgburn.
Try this:
Import an mpeg2 capture into DVDFlick and set DVDFlick not to re-encode mpeg2.
Author the finished dvd video folder and burn that to disc using imgburn.
