I'm trying to burn my first VCD's and am having a similar problem. Easy CD Creator 5 gives me the "green light" on my MPEG files, burns them (supposedly) in VCD format, but my Sony DVP S330 won't play them. The DVD player on my computer won't play it either though.

I am using Maxell CD-R media. Some other threads have indicated that gold CD's are the problem. Could this be all it is? (I haven't had a chance to check.)

By the way --- the support for Easy CD Creator (Roxio is the maker) is PATHETIC.
