    When playing m2v file, MPC can pick up audio file with the same name and play them back in sync. However, it can seek correctly -- V/A will be out of sync with audio lagging behind.

    Is there a player that can seek correctly?

    It seems you have a bad MPEG splitter.
    I use the one from MainConcept (an old version, BTW), together with
    ffdshow's MPEG-2 decoder --- so far, they've worked fine.

    How can I check which splitter is in use? I don't recall installing any splitter. Does MPC has one built-in?
