Xvid remembers its settings from run to run by saving its configuration in the Registry. I don't know that all encoders do that. So configuring the codec outside the encoding application may not work with all codecs.[/quote:57974008ed]The MJPEG codec configuration tool fired up the same Xvid configuration panel, so I don't think there's a problem.
