  1. I`m having a few problems getting to play VCD`s right.
When I play the VCD in my player the picture is a bit jerky but the audio is fine. The VCD was made from an avi file that was encoded in 23fps but used 25fps ( i`m in a PAL region) when using TMPGEnc to convert. When I play it in a friends player the picture is jerky and the audio is out of sync. Can anyone make any suggestions to stop this happening and why is the audio ok in mine but not in the other player. Also if I rencode with 23 fps, will this play ok in my player without any problems?

    Thanks in advance

  2. I believe the problem is cause your original AVI was encoded as a NTSC Film and you did a convertion to PAL which caused the sync problem, if you still have the original AVI, I would recommand you re-encode it as NTSC Film and not as PAL.
