how do you save avi's from freevcr.
I run the capture, everything looks fine, low cpu usage, no dropped frames etc all very promising.
After hitting the stop button the capturing ends but the file size in explorer is still 0kb so I assume that freevcr has not actually ended the capture.
If I just exit freevcr the app the file sizes look right but thay will not open in any editor or player

the same thing happens on 3 different pc's (PII 433, PIII 700, P4 1.7)with wintv go card, pinnacle pctv usb and a web cam(wdm and vfw drivers), two win98 one win2k and I've tried all codecs. All work fine in avi_io and virtual dub.

is there some save option that I just am not seeing?
