  1. A little project for your video wizards. This is very important to me, and I don't know how to search to get the answer I'm looking for. I used a data recovery program on my camera's memory stick. I was looking for about 5 or so video files. When on the memory stick before deletion, they were in whole video clips. However, when recovering, they were all broken up into files about 20kb large. The thing is, there are THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of them. It's like the video files were broken up into 20kb chunks. Sure enough, if I try and play one of these files, each gives me TWO seconds of audio, but no visual. If I play them all in sequence, I can essentially hear everything. The files are all labeled as 00000001.1.mpg and so on, the final file being 00009841.1.mpg.

I put this in the video conversion forum, possibly incorrectly, because I need to convert whatever these mini files are into their original sizes with the video.

    I need these video files.

  2. Try appending them with mpg2cut2 , or avidemux, or videoredo
