When I reboot my PC it always appears the following window:
" Windows Genuine Advantage Notifications "
What must I do to disable this program?
Thank you and a good day.

Just be glad Microsoft didn't shut you down completely!
Google "WGA removal XP SP2" -- or whichever OS you're using. Use the manual methods rather than downloading some software which is likely to be a trojan. -
What would you define as "desirable spam"? Just wondering...

Or just run a genuine copy of windows, that way you won't recieve the warnings.
Removing it is not always going to help, as a lot of microsoft stuff requires it now. -
Yeah, it could be.....
I had a problem (2nd time) with a legit OEM version on an E-machine and microsoft was absolutely no help!!
They said i had to call e-maichine & then emachine said because it was out of warranty i would have to pay $$$ for their tech support!!!
A friends mobo went out & when i replaced it, windows saw it as a new machine and would not work
So here i sat with this POS E-machine, with a LEGIT copy of windows, had the authentic sticker on the back with the serial number, M$ even said it was valid when i called them, and neither M$ or E-machines would do $h!t about it without paying money!!
So i fixed windows MY way!!!!
Pretty sad when you have a legit copy of windows and they basically try to screw you out of more $ to make it work!!
I wonder why people pirate M$ software -
It happened to me, too, but I had to buy another OS CD from them.
From then on, no Windows updates for me and like you and many others fix it my way.
I was screwed many times by PC repairers in the beginning, but I take it as learning cost. Now I fix my friend's computers for free and give them tips, but I never charge anything for it.
