Medianinfo says it's got a WMV3 video and WMA2 audio codec. Error message states Windows Media player cannot play the file. Then it says something about a possible codec problem. I can play a WMV2, WMA1 file. I don't know if this has anything to do with it but medianinfo also says the writing application is Flip4Mac WMV export for Quicktime. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall WMP 10 with no success. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

  2. Did you try WMP11?

Is it possible the file is corrupt? e.g. if you downloaded it from somewhere

Try another player e.g. KMPlayer, SMPlayer, MPCHC and/or VLC which have internal splitter & decoders - what happens? If it chokes using those, then it's likely corrupt
