    Also, does it need a voltage adapter and if so, which one? can you buy it from like walmart or office depot?

    Does it have high speed dubbing to DVD?

    I also wouldn't suggest a LG DVDR.
    Check out this thread's OP for links to various international Panasonics. IMO a better choice than a LG.

    I think 220v may also sell international Pannys.

  6. I would go Pioneer, Pannys create a pretty poor image, or a toshiba if you can find one.

    LG's are just not very reliable, if you get a good one=great.
    PAL/NTSC problem solver.

    I've read the Canadian Pios are well worth it but I've also read the international Pios may be more trouble than worth. I believe the I. Pios have a NTSC(not digital) tuner while the Pannys only have a PAL tuner, if that matters to you.
