I'm playing an old PC game from 1999 called Rome: Caesar's Will. The video works but the audio is terrible, it keeps jumping. The game was designed for Windows 98. I tested the game on my Windows XP (with Creative sound) and my Dad's Windows XP (with Realtek sound). I even tested it in Windows 98 compatible mode, as well as all the other modes in the properties tab. Still the audio is jumpy.

Below is an example of the audio problem.

Theres a lot of games designed for win98 that wont play properly in winxp and theres nothing that can be done to get them to work right, only thing you can do is check for an update or install it on a win98 machine, maybe dual boot if you know how to do that.

Too bad you cant use a virtual win98,the video in virtual pcs are only good for pre 95 games.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.
