According to the following link Winnydows is not supporting Xvid4PSP any longer.

    http://forum.winnydows.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1141&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&sid=d8eb66e69a12ad8...0a710aaef1cc7b

Which is a pity because I had just moved to it from PSP Video 9 as it gave excellent results for the Sony PSP using the "x264 HQ Ultra" setting, considering how small the resulting file sizes were.
If anyone has details of Handbrake settings that would give similar results to the XviD4PSP "x264 HQ Ultra" setting for the PSP, I would love to know. Thanks.

Just curious - if Xvid4PSP works for you, and gives you good results (or what you're looking for), why not continue using it, rather than moving to Handbrake?
If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?

Ai Haibara - I was not sure whether it will continue to work in the future, long term. So was thinking of moving to Handbrake which is well regarded just in case. But you are right I will keep using it.

You could always ask questions here. There are a number of Xvid4PSP users on VideoHelp, so even if Winnydows no longer updates (although a user apparently just posted an update), or supports Xvid4PSP, someone here might be able to help.

Ai Haibara - Thanks, I will look for help here if I have any problems. The HQ presets have been fine for my requirements so it would be great if I can continue with it.

A member of the Winnydows forum has made the latest changes, which appear to be base around incorporating a better media player for previews, rather than upgrading encoding engines or anything significant. The main Winnydows product is now Commander, and kind of hodge-podge player, explorer, converter. Not as impressive at all.

Hopefully the new user will take the reigns and make some real updates soon.

Or maybe try Staxrip, another very good x264 frontend. Don't know if it has any good psp profiles though.
