I'm just wondering what to get for best quality..
Camcorder would be Sanyo VPC-WH1.
The still camera Lumix DMC-FT1.
Both shoot 720p, but would the videocam be better for video quality?

I'd expect the Sanyo to do better video and the Lumix to do better stills.
Neither shoot a format that is easy to edit. The Sanyo shoots to a generic MP4 h.264. The Lumix shoots to AVCHD "Lite".Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.
