I've just recently started downloading MKVs and converting them to WMV-HD to play through my Xbox. It was going great, until recently, while watching an encoded version of The Prestige that I encoded myself, the last 30 minutes or so of the movie stutters. It's not the audio, just the video. It's not even a pronounced stutter, just enough to almost give you a sick feeling. It's just a slight hang like every second, and it continues until the end of the movie. I re-encoded the movie 3 or 4 more times trying various things, like upping the framerate to 25fps from 23.97fps, and nothing. I thought it was a problem with the .mkv file, so I re-downloaded one and put it aside. However, watching another movie last night I noticed the same problem, and I haven't the faintest idea how to fix it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
