    Hey guys,

My Harman Kardon home theatre system was working normally a few day ago. Yesterday, my mom, who's completely unfamiliar with the workings of the system managed to some how get the radio option activated. But when I went to play a DVD, there was no video output at all. The audio was normal, I could here the music of the Main Menu and all, but there was no video. I checked the HDMI cable and it was fine. I checked the wiring and there were no loose connections. But no video output.

Can any one help me with this problem?

BTW, my TVs a Samsung 42" (Series unknown).

Just guessing since I don't have this model, try switching to the DVD player then unplug and re-plug the HDMI cable. This should force the receiver to re-acquire the input.

If that doesn't work, consult your dealer or HK support.
