I have a movie on my computer in avi format. I have subtitles to it in srt format. I have the subitle edit 2.7 software (freeware).

In the middle of the movie i chopped off abit of a clip with avidemux (at 35 minutes i deleted a minute worth of clip). How do i delete those lines from the sbtitles and have the remaining subtitles in sync.

with the Edit Subtitle 2.7 software i managed to delete the lines that i wanted BUT the lines after start later on (after a minute)... the timing is with the movie BEFORE i edited it. how do i get the remaining subtitles in sync with the new edited movie?? I know how to do it ONE by ONE but this will take forever and i have to figure out the EXACT timing each time. thats impossible.

    Is there an easier way?

  2. Subtitle Workshop has the ability to mark a bunch of subs and skew their timing.

  5. Open SRT file. Mark subs you want to shift. Edit -> Timings -> Set Delay (negative delay is advance), Save.
