I have been a die hard PS1 & PS2 fan since day one, it's the ONLY sony product i will own or recommend.

But once they made it NON backward compatible, it was over!!

I will never own PS3, unless someone gives me one for free or maybe $50.00...... nah... i won't waste $50.00!!

Sony loses money on every unit at the old prices but still sales are off 31%. This is a "hail Mary" attempt to turn trends up. Otherwise the PS3 goes away.

Still a deal for us.

And yeah, i remember getting a PS2 the VERY first day they came out!!
But i don't recall paying no $450.00 for it!!!!!!!!
You must not have bought it at retail.

I reserved one & prepaid for it like 6 months before it was released.
And 3 months later i sold it because the game selection SUCKED!!!!!!
And a year later i bought another one and have had one ever since, i still do, a fat one and a slim one with at least a hundred games.

Sony's game systems are the only thing i have liked about sony for 30 years!!!

Sorry but... $300.00, still not worth it!!
