I just can't seem to get TMPGenc. to read the .d2v file created with DVDx. I read something aboute Raising the nummer on the VFAPI plugin in TMPGenc. but how do I do that. I know where the are but can't change the settings. I have TMPGenc 2.5 now. with earlier versions of TMPGenc I have the same problem. Because of this I created an .mpg with DVDx itself but the quality is poor.![]()

This is answered many times. Search the forum and / or have a look at Sefy's ripping guide. Both dvd2avi and TMPG need the proper vfapi plugins, that must be registered.

Are u sure u got the complete file?
I had this problem and it was because the disk was out of space!
Therefore the file was unreadable.... -
Make sure you download ALL 3 components: TMPGEnc / TMPGEnc VFP plugin and DVD2AVI.
Then, unzip all 3 ZIP files into the SAME (emphasize SAME!) location! and then run the TMPGEncVFP_Install and then you will be able to open D2V files.Email me for faster replies!
